Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) improving student learning outcomes class XII IPA SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura on material alkane derivatives using STAD type of cooperative learning model; (2) The increase in the results of students of class XII IPA SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura on material alkane derivatives using Jigsaw type of cooperative learning model; (3) differences in learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model type STAD and Jigsaw mode on material alkane derivatives XII grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura; and (4) differences in students' learning activities using cooperative learning model type STAD and Jigsaw mode on material alkane derivatives XII grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura. Shape design of the method used in this study is a non-equivalent control group design, the design of a study involving two groups.

The results showed that: (1) there is an increase in student learning outcomes class XII IPA SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura on material alkane derivatives using STAD type of cooperative learning model with n-Gain value by an average of 0.52 (medium category); (2) there is an increase in student learning outcomes class XII IPA SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura on material alkane derivatives using Jigsaw type of cooperative learning model with the value of n-Gain an average of 0.69 (medium category); (3) There are differences in learning outcomes of students using cooperative learning model type STAD and Jigsaw mode on material alkane derivatives XII grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura with significant value, namely 0.03 at RPP 1 and 2, as well as on RPP 0.04 3 ; and (4) There are differences in students' learning activities using cooperative learning model type STAD and Jigsaw mode on material alkane derivatives XII grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Jayapura with significant value of $ 0.00 less than 0.05.
