Korelasi antara pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap lingkungan: analisis dari perspektif mahasiswa IPA

Abstract
Lingkungan telah mengalami perubahan yang berakibat pada penurunan kualitas lingkungan dan sumber daya disebabkan oleh manusia. Pendidikan sangat penting untuk memberikan pengetahuan lingkungan kepada masyarakat. Hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan adalah setiap individu melakukan upaya perlindungan lingkungan berdasarkan pengetahuan lingkungan dan membentuk sikap yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap lingkungan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasi. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan IPA di Unimuda Sorong. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan tes pengetahuan lingkungan dan angket sikap lingkungan yang berisi pernyataan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan lingkungan mahasisiswa berkorelasi dengan sikap lingkungan mahasiswa dengan nilai Sig. 0,003 (Sig. < 0,003).
