Implementation of Pancasila Values in Life in the Digitalization Era

Abstract

Pancasila is the foundation and ideology of the Indonesian people. Pancasila is  also the nation's way of life that prevents the Indonesian people from being  swayed when facing obstacles in the modern digital era. Every Indonesian  citizen's life must be based on the ideals of Pancasila, and all actions of  Indonesian citizens must implement Pancasila values. The digital era and the  movement of globalization have had a detrimental effect on Indonesia's younger  generation and have had a positive influence. The digitalization era is an era full  of significant changes in all aspects of life, related to the development of  technology and digital communication tools, followed by a pragmatic  perspective and attitude. This research aims to find out how to apply Pancasila  values in life in the digitalization era and what are the challenges of applying  Pancasila values in life in the digitalization era. Pancasila is a representation of  the identity and character of the nation. Therefore, to answer all the problems of  the digital contemporary era, the Indonesian people take advantage of the  benefits and functions of the philosophy of Pancasila as the nation's ideology.
