INOVASI PENGERING BERBASIS KONVERSI CAHAYA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pengeringan dengan menggunakan inovasi pengering berbasis konversi cahaya. Dilakukan di Laboratorium Teradu UNIMUDA Sorong pada bulan Juni 2021 menggunakan alat pengering dengan 5 kali pengulangan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pisang. Data perolehan pengukuran suhu dan penyusutan massa pisang dideskripsikan dan dianalisis rata-rata, selisih dan persentase. Hasil penelitian diperoleh data selisih dan persentase suhu tertinggi yakni 39oC dengan kenaikan hingga 44%. Sedangkan selisih dan persentase suhu terendah yakni 32oC dengan kenaikan sebesar 19%. Persentase rata-rata kenaikan suhu hanya mencapai 33,16%. Berdasarkan data analisis penyusutan massa pisang diperoleh penyusutan maksimum hingga 32,72 gram dan persentase penyusutan sebesar 66%. Penyusutan minimum sebesar 17,43 gram dan persentase sebesar 48%. Persentase rata-rata penyusutan massa pisang hingga mencapai 56,75%.
