FORMULASI DAN UJI EFEKTIVITAS SEDIAAN SALEP EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN MAHKOTA DEWA (Phaleria macrocarpa) TERHADAP PENYEMBUHAN LUKA SAYAT PADA MENCIT (Mus musculus)
Abstract
Daun mahkota dewa merupakan tumbuhan berkhasiat obat yang bekerja dalam proses penyembuhan luka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas salep ekstrak etanol daun mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa) dengan 3 konsentrasi yaitu 3%, 5% dan 7% terhadap penyembuhan luka sayat pada punggung mencit. Formulasi dari ke-3 salep ekstrak daun mahkota dewa telah diuji fisik. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimental. Sebanyak 18 ekor mencit di bagi dengan 6 kelompok. Masing-masing kelompok dilukai sepanjang 1 cm kemudian diberi perlakuan K1 (Kontrol negatif), K2 (Kontrol positif), K3 (Kontrol netral), K4 (Konsentrasi 3%), K5 (Konsentrasi 5%) dan K6 (Konsentrasi 7%). Luka diolesi 2 kali sehari dengan salep selama 14 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, penyempitan luka, membentuk keropeng dan menutup luka. Hasil uji statistik memberikan efek signifikan terhadap penyembuhan luka pada mencit, yaitu (p>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan salep ekstrak daun mahkota dewa menghasilkan sediaan salep yang memenuhi syarat dengan konsentrasi 3%, 5% dan 7% memberikan efektifitas penyembuhan luka sayat pada mencit jantan. Konsentrasi 7% memiliki efek peneyembuhan luka sayat paling cepat dibanding konsentrasi 3% dan 5%.
